The Chinese Crested originated in Africa, exactly where they were being named “African Hairless Terriers.” The traditional Aztecs stored them as bed warmers and, believe it or not, did eat them. When Chinese investing ships created stops in Africa together their routes, they picked these little dogs up and introduced them aboard their ships to
